Our stay at the Old Pumping Station was truly unique and impressive. The transformation from a pumping station to self-catering accommodation was done exceptionally well, with attention to detail in every aspect. The industrial and rustic look, along with the fun flair added to the pipes and taps, created a truly special atmosphere. We were also grateful for the extra effort of the host who promptly contacted us about a bag we had left behind. The location was a pleasant surprise, with plenty to see and do in the surrounding area. The property itself was beautifully designed and had everything we needed for a wonderful weekend away, including a stunning bathroom. The welcoming dog treats were a lovely touch and made us feel at home.
There were a few minor drawbacks, such as the loud noise from the fan in the bedroom ceiling. However, with a little help from some locally brewed beers, we were still able to get a good night's sleep.

We absolutely loved our weekend getaway! the design of the place was incredible, with so much attention to detail and quirky touches. It was both practical and comfortable, with everything we needed for a cozy stay. the bed was amazingly comfortable and the whole place was impeccably clean. We also appreciated the care for the environment, like the fan in the bathroom connecting to the shower and flush, and the smart use of lights and heat pump. the location was perfect too, with easy access to shops and a pleasant surprise in the nearby area of Iron Bridge.
To be honest, there wasn't much we didn't like about our stay. I personally wasn't a huge fan of the heat pump, but that's just a personal preference.

The comfortable bed, immaculate cleanliness, and practical amenities like free wi-fi and electric kettle made for a fantastic stay. The location was a pleasant surprise, with a charming village just minutes away on foot and Iron Bridge a short walk or drive away. The provided leaflets for nearby walks were a great touch.
